Principal’s Message
Dear Friends,
At Don Bosco School, Oodlabari, we see education as a sacred journey—one that nurtures not just the intellect, but also the heart and soul of every child. Rooted in the rich legacy of the Salesians and inspired by the vision of St. John Bosco, our school has been dedicated to delivering holistic education since its establishment in 2007.

In today’s demanding world, children face immense pressures—academic stress, emotional struggles, and digital distractions. At Don Bosco, we strive to create a space where learning is joyful, values are cherished, and every child’s potential can truly flourish. We focus on:
1. Empowering Educators – Training teachers with both academic tools and emotional intelligence to support each child with care and empathy.
2. Beyond Marks – Encouraging skill-based learning that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth.
3. Values and Life Skills – Instilling core values like honesty, humility, and courage through life skills education.
4. Discipline with Dignity – Fostering a culture of mutual respect, confidence, and responsibility.
5. Learning from Nature – Inspiring environmental awareness and stewardship through outdoor learning.
6. Digital Balance – Promoting healthy tech habits and social-emotional well-being.
But this vision cannot be achieved by the school alone. It calls for a strong partnership among educators, parents, and the wider community. Parents play a vital role by fostering open communication, modelling values, and engaging meaningfully in their children’s growth. Together, we must advocate for a system that educates and uplifts.
As Principal, I am honoured to lead a school that is a beacon of excellence in the Dooars—blessed with dedicated staff, vibrant students, supportive parents, and a strong spiritual foundation. With world-class facilities and a nurturing environment, Don Bosco School remains committed to empowering every student to dream big, lead with integrity, and serve with compassion.
Let us continue this journey—from dreamers to achievers—shaping a generation that excels not only in academics but also in life.
Yours sincerely,
Fr. (Dr.) Aju Kurian, SDB
